I am a Professor of Economics and Behavioral Science at Cornell University, USA, and Bilkent University, Turkiye.
I am a board member and co-chair of the Education Sector and the Humanitarian Protection Initiative at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), a research fellow at CEPR and CESifo.
My research interests include education, education and social policy evaluations, human and social capital formation and gender.
